Our third annual Emerald City Romance Author and Reader Event was held on June 13, 2026 at South Seattle College inside the Brockey Student Building (JMB). It was a day filled with romance novels, author meet-and-greets, book signings, flash tattoo art, and more. Readers met their favorite authors in person, connected with fellow romance readers, and immersed themself in all things romance; having the opportunity to celebrate love, passion, and happily ever afters with like-minded individuals. 

 

Date: Saturday June 13th, 2026. Doors opened to VIP admission readers at 11 am and to general admission readers at 12 pm. Doors close at 5 pm

Location: South Seattle College Main Campus, 6000 16th Avenue SW, Seattle, WA 98106-1499

About the location: 

​​The college is ADA compliant and we are on the bottom floor/single story building. The north entrance is flat and straight in, the other entrance (south) has stairs and a ramp to descend to the room entrance height. Building is located in the middle of campus. Campus map can be downloaded here. There are several bathrooms located throughout the building.

This one day event included lunch, parking, wifi (vendors), community and a private space to take a break if needed. Full Table and Half Table and available.

Schedule:

Day before setup: 7 - 9 pm

Day of setup: 9 -10:30 am

Lunch/Break and Mingle: 10:30 - 11 am

VIP only: 11 am - 12 pm

VIP and General admission: 12 - 5 pm 

Clean-up/Tear Down: 5 - 6 pm ​
