Where on South Seattle College campus is this event located?
Emerald City Romance Author and Reader Event is located in the Brockey Student Center, building ID JMB located across from the Library. You can find the campus map here
Will I be able to store my unused author items somewhere in the facility?
Yes, we've rented a room 140 that will have some space to store items and will also be a break/quiet area. There is also space on the stage as the curtain will be drawn closed. Please keep in mind you are storing your items at your own risk.
Do I have to pay for parking?
No. The cost of parking was included in the event price.
Can I get a refund?
No, but you can transfer your table to another Author with approval
What is the power availability?
There are occasional outlets on the location floor and along the walls. There isn't a guarantee that you'll be near a power source if you need one. Please plan accordingly.
Does the event provide SWAG for the readers?
Yes, a signature full color reader booklet will be provided to all ticket holders, as well as an author snapshot collection book and a tote to the VIP ticket holders for free and for purchase by the GA ticket holders

Can I take the bus to the event?
Yes! Bus routes 128 and 125 stop in front of the Robert Smith Building (RSB). (See campus map.) You can call METRO (206.553.3000) or check the METRO Trip Planner for bus route schedules and times.
Can I get a refund?
No, sorry. Currently we are not accepting refund requests for this event.
Can I volunteer?
Absolutely! We love volunteers. As a volunteer, you'll get free GA admission to the event and access to coffee and tea, as well as an opportunity to help provide an amazing event to all those who attend and continue the experience for future events. There are number of shifts both before and during the event, including Author check in, Attendee check-in, Table Runner Shifts; each run around two hours.
