A Day With Zoe York

Please join us on March 16th as Emerald City Romance Writers welcomes bestselling fiction and nonfiction author Zoe York. Zoe will present two workshops. The first presentation will begin at 10:00 am and run to 12:00 pm. There will be a lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, followed by a second workshop from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The workshop will be recorded and available for 30 days after the event to all registrants

In these workshop: Zoe will discuss series, branding, and marketing.

Workshop # 1 

Writing a genre fiction series: turning a writing dream into a writing career 

Start planning your next series to build on your brand and take you to the next level. We’ll cover:

• How to craft the next first-in-series evergreen book that will sell for years and lay the foundation for 5+ books to follow.
• How (and when) to spin off and take your readers with you.
• How to weather the ups and downs of the market when you feel like the tortoise surrounded by hares.

Workshop # 2 

Six Month Marketing Plan That Moves the Needle 

It takes time and commitment to a plan to effect significant change in your business. In this workshop, we’ll go over:

• How to analyze marketing and release options to focus on revenue-generating activities
• How to plan ahead for a known break in the release schedule
• Sequencing marketing choices to optimize reader retention and read through
• Re-organizing your backlist so you have at least one marketing event, six months in a row

About the speaker: Zoe York is a thirteen-time USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance, often with military heroes, and always with scorching heat between the pages.
