About the Event

In this workshop:

Ah the trash fire that is 2020. No more blowing out candles on birthday cakes, much less actual parties because of CoVid 19. Few schools. Everyone working from home. Election year and ALL the phone calls that go with it. It’s one thing after another, and the rotten cherry on top of the 2020 crap sundae is that the bars are closed. How’s a writer to write in the middle of it all when most of us are fantasizing about hiding in the attic just to get a little alone time? You aren’t going mad. Entirely. Your brain is overloaded and that can be fixed. Come pick up a few tools to carve out a little creative space for yourself and your work.

About Marcella:

Marcella Burnard is a Seattleite living in exile amid the alligators and egrets of South-Central Florida. She writes science fiction romance, fantasy, urban fantasy, and paranormal. Her first book won a RT Critic’s Choice award for 2010 and was a double RITA finalist that same year. If a story brings the weird, Marcella’s right there for it. She lives in Florida where she and her husband are outnumbered by cats. Marcella is actively involved in feline rescue in the Tampa Bay area and you can always find cat photos and videos on her Facebook page or on her Instagram account.
